    Course Overview:

I loved this course because the professor was highly engaging with the class. It further motivated me to want to come to class as he made English 1302 more interesting and fun.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this course was getting to read The Zookeepers Wife by Diane Ackerman. Although a majority of the book was read outside of class, Professor Fletcher touched a lot on the symbolism Ackerman used and what made the book so captivating. I loved coming to class and discovering more about this book and it elevated my passion of literature.

    Advice for students:

I recommend that students start their essays ahead of time. There are a lot of essays required throughout the semester for this course. If you procrastinate it becomes almost impossible to achieve a good grade on the essays as the workload will pile up.
