    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took this course during Summer III along with working full time. The class is challenging to begin with. Taking it during the summer was even more difficult. Learning the human body and all it's components quickly is not something I recommend. If you do take this during the summer be prepared to spend more time studying than with a class that doesn't have a lab attached to it.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was learning about how the human body works and it's amazing components. I learned what each bone is called and where it is in the body, each of the 11 systems of the body and how they work together to maintain homeostasis, and the parts of the brain and skull and how our body uses this to send messages to other parts of our body. This class was really intriguing.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take great notes and make flashcards! The best thing I did was rewrite my notes and repeat what I learned several times until it embedded in my brain before the test!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I felt that the professor really gave great details and real world examples of the material that was very helpful.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed taking this class from a medical doctor because I felt that he had lots of wisdom to share with the class that was based on his personal knowledge of medicine and human anatomy.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Read each chapter of the textbook multiple times so you really have a good grip on the concepts. Read chapters before the lecture so that you can use the lecture to clarify any concepts that you do not understand, rather than using the lecture to learn the material for the first time.
