    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Professor Hickman does an amazing job at making the texts come alive. She relates real life situations to the texts and makes them enjoyable to read. Her humor is a nice change compared to the stereo typical lecturing and she is great at bringing God into everything she teaches on.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed seeing and learning the different ways the Bible could be related to the different texts. It was fun hearing Hickman's take on each story and I loved that she was helpful in making the readings relatable and interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Reading ahead is helpful. There were a couple of weeks I was behind on my reading and it caught up to me. It is helpful when it comes to the assignments if you can get ahead in the readings.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it gives great insight into the latter half of written literature. You dive deeply into works of all ranges, from big to small, Romantic to Modern. It is a ton of reading, which is why I didn't score it higher. The teacher is amazing though. She is very rounded in this subject.

    Course highlights:

I have learned the importance of time periods in literature and that they all span over a certain group of themes. We have also taken a look into the Biblical stances with all of our works we've read, which is really helpful to where we can find a way to integrate our faith into what we believe just outside of the Bible.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all of the works and be ready to give feedback in class. Pick an interesting topic for your paper that won't bore you so that you can dive heavier into it.
