    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Hickman knows so much about literature. What I enjoyed the most was her enthusiasm and her ability to apply anything to reality. She loves each of her students dearly and cares for all people with her whole heart.

    Course highlights:

I learned a large amount about essay writing, as well as an appreciation for different types of literature.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always go to the University Writing Center because she gives extra credit and you tend to do better on your papers.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Barrett provides ample instruction to ensure you understand exactly what is expected of you in the course. She also allows grace periods a week after deadlines which are fantastic for adult students as life happens unexpectedly sometimes.

    Course highlights:

The fundamentals of a great argument. I think everyone can agree that arguments are all around us all of the time so understanding how to do so well is a life lesson from which we can all be benefit.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not get behind in the work. Only take advantage of the grace periods if you absolutely need them. They are like sick days, only use them if you are actually sick because you will eventually need them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Hickman makes learning fun and interesting. She makes the subject easier to understand and more exciting.

    Course highlights:

One of my favorite things we went over in Ms. Hickman's class was Othello by Shakespeare. Though it was brief, Ms. Hickman brought so many points to life form Othello that I had never heard nor considered!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read your assigned reading! Even if you don't quite understand it while you read it, when you go over it in class, so many things will begin to make sense!
