    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Long was an amazing professor that explained difficult information in layman's terms. He always made it fun to learn about the entire body. I enjoyed doing the labs also. Never a dull moment.

    Course highlights:

I loved the medical terminology and learning all the bones and muscles. I loved doing assignments as a group. I learned that as babies we have way more bones and as we grow into adults, many of those bones fuse together into less but bigger bones.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make plenty of flash cards and become like a sponge and soak as much information as you can. Get a study partner to make learning more fun. It is a fun class in my opinion.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it helps give a better understanding of the human body's functions.

    Course highlights:

I learned all the functions of the integumentary system such as sweat glands secreting to keep skin cool.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it seriously because it is only easy if you give it your all.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Anatomy in general is a very hard class but Mr. Wood is amazing at teaching it. There is a lot of information to learn but Wood explains it in ways that is easy for anyone to understand. I didn't take anatomy in high school so i basically started from scratch but i have an A in the class and I'm learning every single thing we have to know!

    Course highlights:

I've learned so much about our bone structure, our muscles, our cells, and much more just in lab alone. In lecture we learn about the physiology of everything in our bodies and even though it's difficult at first, Mr. Wood will answer any questions we have and he breaks it down into the simplest forms so we can understand everything altogether.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to study and then study some more! Even though Wood explains everything, you still need to study because there is a lot of information to learn. The text book and note set were everything to me and they're the reason i'm passing this class. You have to read the book in order to understand everything. Don't slack off or miss class because you will be lost.
