Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Biology is not an easy subject, but taking the class with someone who knows and is passionate about her studies makes learning more enjoyable! Joy presents the different topics of Anatomy and Physiology in a way that can be explained to a child! One of my many reasons why I chose to stay in her class is that she is well educated and knows the material!

    Course highlights:

It was pretty neat to learn the different functions of your body. My most memorable was the digestive system. Even though as a whole i knew that your stomach played an important roll in digesting your food, i was eager to learn the different parts of the small and large intestines, the way the muscles worked to contract and relax and mix the food with the gastric juices, and the different parts of your stomach where certain nutrients were absorbed!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Review the notes and read the book! If i could go back to the beginning of the semester to tell myself how i can improve, is i would tell myself to read the chapter before the beginning of the unit! Even though Joy does a wonderful job presenting the material, its always good to be prepared and aware of what the teacher is talking about.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Course work is hard and so are the tests. You will be happy after every passing grade and cry over the ones you fail

    Course highlights:

There are plenty of opportunity to have one-on-one time with models. I learn how to capitalize on my learning style.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Never stop studding or reviewing.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is the the most important course for nursing prerequisites. It tests your every college skill: note taking, time management, studying. Professor Moore is extremely helpful and clear.

    Course highlights:

Having a great professor and working with anatomy models.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You must dedicate at least 15 hours a week studying for this class. Do not underestimate the course load. I saw many fall behind fast due to the lack of studying and doing homework
