    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Grider is one of the older more respected professors at american river! He's a natural when it comes to explaining chemistry! Ive never met anyone with such a passion to teach and a desire to share his knowledge!

    Course highlights:

Even though Chem 305 was a basic chem class, Ive learned a lot with the different formulas, and combining and reaction of different chemicals and elements!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read, ask questions, read some more, get into a study group, attend teachers office hours. And read.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class with this professor. I learned so much in his class. He teaches different because he lectures on the homework after you have already done it. This helps me work harder to learn the material and it helps me understand it better.

    Course highlights:

This class really just helped me understand chemistry and why certain things react with other.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the beacon program. It is a lot of help. Also, just put in the effort. If you really want an A, you will get an A if you work for it.
