Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is not your ordinary course. You go unthinking this will be the easiest class that you could take, but it was a lot of time commitment. We had a group project of our choice to help the community in any way we wanted.

    Course highlights:

We shared our ideas to the class on what group project we wanted to do. So, starting from the beginning of the course we pitched our proposals to the entire class. The finale of it all was great because we got to see what everyone had accomplished.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

We first thought we didn't need to study as a group, but it showed from our midterm to our final that studying in our group helped the best.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it was not extremely difficult and instead held my interest the entire semester.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to communicate effectively as a group when completing group presentations.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class. Take good notes during lecture most midterm and final exam questions are pulled directly from her lecture. Be a cooperative member when it comes to group presentations.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

In order to transfer to a University students must complete a speech course. This course is a good option for individuals that are intimidated by public speaking. We learned how to interact with group members as well as effectively performing the task. Duax is also a great teacher, so that helped.

    Course highlights:

I overcame my fear of public speaking, while also becoming less stubborn when dealing with group projects. Learning how to become satisfied with a compromise is important in all areas of life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just bring a good attitude to the class. Become a social butterfly and really try to get along with your group members. If students do this, they are guaranteed to finish this course with at least one new friend.
