Course Overview:
I don't enjoy math as much as other subjects, but I need to complete math120 for my major. Math100 with Professor Andre has prepared me and made class fun. He is an excellent professor.
Course highlights:
I learned algebra! I feel much more confident in my ability to pass the next math class, and chemistry.

Advice for students:
It sounds obvious, but go to class and do homework. It's the best way to not fall behind.

Course Overview:
If you need a refresher on your algebra skills, I highly recommend Mr. Messer. He has a great style of teaching, full of student interaction. At the end of the lesson, he puts the students into groups and has them work on worksheets. It sounds like it's from elementary school, but it's honestly effective and you stay consistent with the homework, you should pass the class easily.
Course highlights:
I always struggled with fractions and factoring, but taking this course has given me a lot more confidence in my mathematical ability. Working in a group with the same students every lesson gave a sense of bonding and team fluidity.

Advice for students:
Do your homework every day. It's super basic advice, I know, but doing the homework honestly reinforces the lesson in your mind and it becomes a natural skill the more you do it.

Everything. This is the first time that I can fully comprehend an entire math book from front to back. Respect yourself and do your homework!

Homework!!! Throw what you think you know about math out the window- learn the roots and then pick up your fancy gimmicks later.
