Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My professor was new to the district and I felt as though he did a fantastic job teaching the class. He did a great job explaining to students in more detail about things they might not have understood in any of the units.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me were the tests, as I had already known and remembered some of the material we learned in class from my high school Algebra 1 and 2 classes, so it was just a matter of relearning. I learned many different techniques to solve problems, some of them were a lot more easy to use than what I remembered learning in high school.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Flash cards help with formulas, as there are a lot to remember. Doing extra and recommended homework problems for more practice will definitely help on quizzes and tests.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a requirement for a two-year degree, therefore it is taken by many. This class is very math heavy, but my professor used real life applications.Using applications to the real world, help create motivation and understanding of why this class is required. All in all, I enjoyed learning in this class.

    Course highlights:

My professor, gave us a lot of homework, which forced us to learn even more, by doing countless amounts of problems.Taking really good notes in this class, is the key to doing well on the tests in this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Having a positive attitude, and never giving up. This class is challenging, and can be stressful at times. If you fail a test, don't give up, keep pushing and studying, that is how you will succeed in this class. Also, I used Khan Academy for help.Khan Academy is a great online website, that has tons of videos on every math topic. That website really helped me to develop better studying habits.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Because he make it really easy to learn. He say he's there to teach you not to time you on finishing a test. Great professor.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about math in this class than any math class I've took. My last math class I was lost but this one he explains it so much better and actually do problems to make you understand them better. Like step by step

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Math lab is a big help but he's always there to help you if you don't understand.
