Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher was incredibly patient with teaching the subject, as well as really mature. She made sure the students understood the content thouroughly before moving on. She was also very consistent with the syllabus and let you know in advance if any changes were made. The lectures were fun and easy to understand and take notes on.

    Course highlights:

I learned a variety of things from hormonal compositions to the psychology of the brain when dealing with emotions. We learned a lot about contraception and pregnancy, the hormonal effects, the different types of contraception. The teacher also talked about new forms of contraception being developed, along with how other types of contraception were developed. We were also able to learn about sexual disorders, like erectile dysfunction, the treatments, and how they are diagnosed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book content and take notes over what she says will be on the tests. Be sure to have a few friends in class in case you miss a lecture.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a very informational class that did not even truly need a textbook. We were given participation opportunities and were also presented with several forms of information (videos, PowerPoint presentations, pictures, etc.).

    Course highlights:

We went through the human reproductive system and how the mind ties into it. Professor Ward ensured that we knew multiple safe sex practices and what to look out for. We gave our own presentations for the Health Fair on campus.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you are studying the notes and paying attention in class. She does write an outline before class and it is helpful for your notes. Pay attention to the videos and take notes for those as well. Only present on something you know well for your Health Fair presentation.
