Pretty easy, overall.
It is definitely evident that the teacher loves the subject. She is very fair when it comes to grades, and is polite and courteous to all her students.
I learned more in depth of just how complicated history is. Teaching students about their roots and the struggles of their predecessors, the subject offers a lot of valuable insight on just how much had to be sacrificed to have the country we live in today. And yet, the class also does this while still opening students to a more worldly view, as the United States , like all other countries, is not nearly as pure as its ideology.

Advice for students:
Just do your work and read the history chapters. You learn a lot without having to stress a lot, so it's a pretty ideal course. If you can't quite grasp certain historical events, then just go ahead and ask the teacher for answers. If you are unable to contact her for some reason, look up a quick documentary on youtube. The author John Green has some great informational overviews of history if you need something quick and to the point.
