Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it as my teacher was very emphatic to the students struggles, and would allocate time by emails or offer unscheduled office hours to assist you.

    Course highlights:

From physics 110 I was given the an indispensable lesson of our existence to involve physics: from simple day to day activities, we abide by physics.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always complete the homework and do not fear to ask for elaboration of certain concepts; there are various students who also suffer from the same embarrsement to ask. Also always try even if you are stuck do not give up.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Bowen offers a challenging and thought-provoking class. He respects effort and intelligence. Once he realized my dedication to his course, he became even more engaged in supporting my success in his class. I enjoyed the class so much, I took Dr. Bowen's next level physics course in the spring. Aced both semesters! Specifically, the 110 course covers kinematics, Newton’s laws, statics, linear momentum, linear-rotational analogs, rotational dynamics, energy and its transformation, fluids, gravitation and oscillations.

    Course highlights:

This was the class that made me fall in love with physics. I was able to be challenged with problems utilizing the basic laws of the universe, and was inspired by the inherent oneness of our reality. Learning Newton's laws and their applications in this class had pushed me to delve deeper into the secrets of the universe.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Only take this course if you are a serious student. You can "bs" your way through Dr. Bowen's physics' classes - period. He is excited about what he teaches and if you are not... you will not succeed in his class.
