Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is very hands on and he wants you to learn every sign properly. He never ignores a question, he encourages them. He makes you feel comfortable enough to ask him about anything that you need clarification on.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course are the events that he encourages you to attend so that you can be fully immersed into the Deaf Culture.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class, you have to be present in every class. If you miss one day you will be behind. Form study groups with the people in the class, they come in handy.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is so fun, the teacher is very passionate about his subject and he teaches so much deaf culture that many people do not know about. He is also very understanding to problems and cares about all of his students.

    Course highlights:

The deaf culture in this course is phenomenal, much more than I would have expected. I learned much more signs than those taught in the text book.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice, practice is key to success in any language but in ASL you can easily forget the signs and some signs are not correct in the book and he corrects them in class.
