Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class requires an open mind. Analysis of characters goes beyond the blatantly obvious adn the student is required to think outside the box.

    Course highlights:

The essays assigned were over works of literature I would have never picked up on my own. I learned to look beyond the words on the page and truly analyze the themes in the pieces.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Brush up on literary concepts and vocabulary before taking the class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course! It shows you the importance of all types of literature, and made me see literature in a completely different light. All the hidden aspects of characters, themes, metaphors, etc. The professor shown a light in the nooks and crannies of stories, and it gave them a new meaning.

    Course highlights:

I learned, first of all, that reading a story once will never do. Read it over, and over, and over. Also, everything means something. And despite its smallness, could completely change the way you look at the story and what you take from it for the rest of your life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

READ IT. Even if you don't understand it, or can't find anything, read it anyway. Ask questions!
