    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend him since he is very thorough and very patient professor. He knows his stuffs like the palm of his hand.

    Course highlights:

He is very visual and he draws orgo materials on the wall. He will stop to answer your questions. He is very calm and he sees the course through the eyes of a Orgo student.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study and read your textbooks. Practice your homework questions. Go to tutoring if you are struggling with the class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While it is challenging, you'll be glad to be able to say you've passed organic chemistry. that's more than some people can say, at the least. Always challenge yourself. Also, there's always an air of excitement that surrounds an academic challenge, is there not? Sure, you might have to work a bit harder than you'd probably want to, but that's life. We go through life to work, and to achieve, and a higher education is just one element of such a thing.

    Course highlights:

General chemistry gives you a bare opening into the world of natural science. The highlight of this course is definitely being able to look at a convoluted organic molecule, and subsequently being able to name it, scientifically, using carbon atoms and substituents. After a while, it's fun.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't expect it to be a cakewalk. That's always a dangerous assumption. ALways.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because he is the Head Director of the Chemistry Department. He has over 20 years of teaching experience and he knows the stuffs left and right. He tells you what will be covered in the exam and what you need to stay focused on.

    Course highlights:

He knows Organic Chemistry very well. Knows how to teach a very difficult subject like Ochem1.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to pour your soul, heart and body to this course. This course is very hard and it requires a lot of attention and effort. There will be a lot of new concepts that you have never seen before and it takes a lot of efforts to learn and capture lots of new concepts to pass the exam. Every chapter builds in top of each other and the only way to survive while struggling is by staying in top of the game. Beware this course is not recommended during the Summer Session. Lab reports are always mandatory in this course.
