    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are a hard worker this is your class. She makes test from notes and they are a little bit of questions and random choice of 1 essay question. She gives you a week to study for tests. Also the homework assignments are given on Mondays and due in one week which would be the next monday. The assignments are very specific so just look in the reading specifically and you will be fine don't use google you will miss all the questions. She only gives three tests 1 term project and 1 final. If you miss a test you must wait until the final to take the test. You must buy your own test booklets. Her lectures are on average about an hour long. She only puts single points on her powerpoints but she talks about those points. She does vocal lectures. It is very wise to voice record her lectures she allows you to. Also write down the main points of her lectures. Study for her tests because they can kill your grade especially since she only gives three tests in the whole semester and one final. It isn't difficult but there is a lot of information. She doesn't make you read the book so I would recommend not getting it. All her test questions come from the notes.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of information about history. I also learned her style of teaching. She likes to have fun and keeps this history class very entertaining. Although there are times when you will want to sleep since its about an hour long lecture. I also learned about some very important people that I didn't know much information about but knew their names. She covers a variety of information but beware do not slack in her class or you will fall behind. If you mess up on one of her tests it will screw up your grade and it will be hard to get a B.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take very good notes because this is your source of information. Make sure you pay attention to the information she is saying and look over your notes. Don't think that you will magically know this stuff because this only hurts you. Study and take advantage of the time because she waits a couple of weeks before giving a test about 4 to 5 chapters before giving a test. This semester she was spontaneous.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because this instructor does more than teach history. She will make you engage in learning about your own background. So that you can look at history from a different perspective.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to look at history from a different perspective. The assignments she gave us help build our general knowledge. We were also able to learn about other student's perspectives so that we can use this as a critical thinking skill.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You are not able to learn everything in history.Don't be afraid to ask the proffesor for help.Write down subjects you do not understand, and talk to other students about the subject so they can explain it in a different way.
