    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    It is an excellent class to get some basics taken care of, not just for those pursuing a degree in communications but also to those who wish to become better public speakers in genera, which is a vital ability to posses.

    Course highlights:

    Throughout the class I learned not only how to use words more effectively but how to use everything at your disposal to give the best speak. I was made aware of the effects that nonverbal communication such as body language and preconceived notions and how to use them to your benefit.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be prepared to work hard on writing and organizing speaking, but even more on the practicing of speeches as it will help you get timing down and flow of speaking while actually presenting. If you would like to increase not only your ability but also your understanding of communication take this class.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Anyone who wishes to pursue any career having to do with public speaking should take the course to better their understanding of their craft and how to do it well. For anyone, it is beneficial to learn the way communication functions and understanding how to maximize and perform well in that sphere.

    Course highlights:

    Learning how the speaker directly works with the listener to communicate any message and the communication theory of how speakers should handle audiences was very interesting. It gives form to a somewhat abstract concept and breaks a very daunting task down into bits to master and understand.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take it but be diligent, Keep up with the Chapter reading an have a love for learning in general. Although some of the tasks or assignments might seem trivial at the moment, in the the world of communication there is always a better way to say or convey a message, no one is perfect.
