    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is amazing! She fully understands the subject and ensure her students the best in learning it themselves.

    Course highlights:

I learned that this course is a weed out course. It reveals those taking it if they are really meant to be in that particular major.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study the material as soon as you learn it, it will help to keep it fresh rather than waiting to the time of the exams to look back on it.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is difficult because it requires a lot of studying outside and dedication to memorization. If you are not genuinely interested in the topics being discussed this course will be challenging. You must know the best studying methods for yourself and apply that to what you have learned so that you grasp all the information.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about the more obscure parts of Biology. There are a lot of very specific ideas that you need to incorporate into your reservoir of knowledge. Most of the topic you will learn about are far removed from everyday life and you have to know about these topic thoroughly. If you enjoy learning new things, you will definitely enjoy this course!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course you must know the best way in which you absorb information and what studying techniques work well for you. This course is dense and there is a lot of memorization. This course is very straightforward so there isn't a lot of applying what you learn to other topics. I suggest you take very detailed notes and study well before the test.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Even if the course covers a lot of topics, I truly enjoyed learning in this class. The professor try to find ways to make the class fun and help us find ways to remember all the information we needed to know. The class is hard but if you study the information covered in class you will be fine.

    Course highlights:

I learn a lot of different things in this class. I learn the different types and subtypes of protists and fungi. Also the diifferent parts of a flower and many types of plants there are. We also got into a few chemistry topics that were related to biology. We basically learned something new every day.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice would be to not procrastinate in this class and to study days before the tests because they cover a lot of information. If you take notes in class make sure to also pay attention to the professor because they will explain well what's going on in the notes.Do the homework assignments even if they take a while because it will help your overall class grade.
