    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    History after 1877 is some of the most important history in this country for a multitude of reasons. The comprehension and understanding of this era in history is very important if you live here in the US.

    Course highlights:

    A highlight of the coarse was learning about how the freeing of slaves brought on an era of military uproar due to the expansion of the Buffalo soldiers and Negro artillery units.This was even more so cause for southern hatred towards the Blacks and Union army.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Just take your notes because the better they are the easier to remember they are. Your your own worst enemy if your lazy in such a fun coarse because your learning about your own history.

    Course Overview:

    Dr. Morreta is a wonderful teacher who really engages all his students during the lectures and gives a motivation for all his students to do well in his class.

    Course highlights:

    I've learned a lot so far but the most intriguing information was that Abraham Lincoln only free slaves in order to win the Civil War and if he could still have slaves and still win the war without releasing him, he would.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    if you come to class and pay attention during lectures as well as read the textbook, you should be fine.
