Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Morreta is a wonderful teacher who really engages all his students during the lectures and gives a motivation for all his students to do well in his class.

    Course highlights:

I've learned a lot so far but the most intriguing information was that Abraham Lincoln only free slaves in order to win the Civil War and if he could still have slaves and still win the war without releasing him, he would.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

if you come to class and pay attention during lectures as well as read the textbook, you should be fine.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think what makes every class interesting and engaging is how a professor presents it. This class was always a pleasure to attend because professor parker was always very energetic about his course and passionate about history. His class was always challenging but it was rewarding when at the end of the course you end up with an A because of constant studying and participation.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the different points of view pertaining to history. Not only did the professor teach his course from the point of view of the "main" characters of history but also from the victims and "extras" that had to do with each significant event.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study a lot and make friends. Attend class as well in order to take good notes and be engaged in what he is saying. The professor uses more pictures in his power point that words so being present is crucial if you want to make an A.
