    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Calculus can be applied in many ways to everyday problems from maximizing the area with limited resources by finding dimensions to how much a business can maximize their profit before starting to lose profit.

    Course highlights:

Limits, differentiation, integration, optimization, and a review of my algebra skills

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study, but pace yourself. Learn how you learn and what you can take away from the course when it is over. Ultimately, this course can become a "pull" instead of a "push" because you will get tired eventually.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor is the best at breaking down a problem for you and not making you feel incompetent. The fact that he is down to earth and funny makes his class that better.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the very clear, well planned, and delivered lectures. You don't have the teacher who makes you read everything straight from the book. I learned to love math! I hated the thought of it but, when you really get to learn something correctly you appreciate it more.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely need to turn in assignments on time. He has no exceptions for late homework. Always do your homework the tests are cake if you study.
