    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking this course because it is very helpful in terms of gaining knowledge of microbiotic organisms. Most of the bacteria discussed in this course are used in the medical field, so this course really helps.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge of the structure and function of many different forms of bacteria. It was interesting to find out how they function in the human body.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, you need to study practically every day. I recommend finding a study group because this course is pretty difficult to comprehend, and it can get time consuming.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Fogelsong is the most boring professor in the history of professors. He reads from a power point and gets uppity when students ask questions. He actually grades on attendance because if he didnt people wouldnt show up. He posts a study guide and gets test questions from a test bank. Which essentially makes showing up hard to do.

    Course highlights:

He posts a study guide. So go ahead and study that during class. If you have already taken cell bio and genetics, it is super easy. Just pay attention in lab because you learn a lot of good stuff in bite sized pieces.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class. The markdown for absenses in no joke. Take Cell Bio first. Use the study guides he posts and reference the slides first, then go back into the book if you need to flesh it out. Try and get the test bank from other students.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The material is not that hard if you take the time to study.

    Course highlights:

You MUST study, That is because he does not cover test material in his lectures, he expects you to read it and learn it from the book..

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

All the information is there, so its not like he wants you to do bad.
