Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is easy yet challenging at the same time for people who do not know the language. The professor is easy going and will answer any questions that you may have. He is very understanding and will help you with whatever difficulties you are having in the class. It's a fun class and it's easy to learn the language with this professor.

    Course highlights:

I am currently in his Spanish 2 class and there may be some things I don't remember from the first class but I do see how much I have progressed in this language. I am able to better understand now than I was before and I know that as long as I keep practicing I will become better. He taught me that it will take time to be fluent but anyone can do it as long as you practice.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the homework on time and reference your textbook while doing it. Always carry your textbook to practice vocabulary words and word meanings for exams and quizzes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took Spanish 1 in a condensed 8 week course. I feel I needed extra time to retain all of the information that was given. The program also offered an online text book which made it very difficult at times to get my assignments done. The plus was Professor Vasquez is very lenient and allows for extra credit to offset missing assignments.

    Course highlights:

It was nice getting to research and present to the class about different countries from around the world. If anything we definitely got to learn about many cultures.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this class condensed. I would recommend only if you are already fluent in Spanish if you want an easy A.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was great at explaining things and provided plenty of notes and study aids in both english and spanish for the class. She also provided a variety of recordings so that we could hear the language and allowed for us to write our discussions in both english and spanish.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the course was that we had oral homework every week in which we had to record ourselves saying different things and submit them for a grade. It was a great way to show we were learning the language.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

enunciate in your recordings! Be honest with the professor and participate in discussions.
