Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is the first professor that had all of his writing assignments and research papers revolve around each student's career goal. This allowed us to explore what we wanted to do with thorough research and develop a deeper understanding for the careers we are pursuing.

    Course highlights:

Implementing all the APA writing guidelines for both essays and research was the main learning I took away from this course. This course had a developed research project that required an increase throughout the semester for sources and word count followed by a thorough discussion with the teacher each draft to help us create a complete project.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be serious about your research project topic from the beginning. Be as serious about this project as you are discerning your career. If you lose interest in the research project, then essentially, you lost interest in your career goals.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because professor Parsons will help you improve your writing skills. He will devote his time to you until you become the writer you've only dreamed of being.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned how to write the perfect essay. Professor Parsons did everything in his power to make sure his students learned how to write the "perfect" essay. Professor Parsons was one of the toughest graders when it came to reading our papers but aside from all the toughness he had a great sense of humor. His sense of humor is what helped me survive his class believe it or not. Now don't let his tough grading discourage you because I guarantee you will be an outstanding writer by the time you are through with that course.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give students considering this course is don't give up! I know essays aren't fun to write but give it your all on every essay and I promise you will succeed.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He was a great professor. Really helped me to expand on my writing and was very helpful. Quizzes were easy as long as you read (plus, the readings were short!) and all assignments were clear. Would definitely take him again.

    Course highlights:

He helped me to expand on my writing skills, as well as introduced me to new styles. I also walked out of that class a better essay writer.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

READ AND TAKE READING NOTES! and just do the essays and you will be fine (:
