    Advice for students:

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is awesome! You'll learn how the law applies to businesses with real life examples. Dr. Forrest is hilarious, and likes to demonstrate concepts by incorporating the students into his examples by making up outrageous scenarios. There is no homework at all; you just show up to class and take two exams. That means though that you actually have to show up for class, and probably take some notes too! He is really great at explaining business law concepts in simplistic terms that are easy to understand and remember. He also builds the exam questions with the student's input at the end of each chapter lecture, so students know what they need to study the most.

    Course highlights:

I really like how I actually remember just about everything I learn in this class thanks to Dr. Forrest's unforgettable examples. When I look through my notebook, I crack up at the number of hilarious sketches and randomized notes that explain each picture and scenario, which are surprisingly helpful to retain the information. I've learned how to write a legal will on the spot, and everything that should be included in order for it to be effective immediately. I've learned how to sue someone, and how to work my angles around the case regardless what side of the scale I end up on. Dr. Forrest is a really great professor who keeps the environment light, fun, and interesting.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to students considering this course is to actually show up to class, take notes, and pay attention. It's best if you can get involved in the interactive examples because you'll learn more. Ask questions if you have them, or if you just want to be entertained a little more on the subject. Take this class during a semester where your other classes have heavy workloads to balance it out.
