    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

In taking this class I learned that it was okay to not know and understand somethings and most importantly not allow pride to get in the way. After mustering up the courage to finally ask for help the teacher was more than willing to explain to me the process that I was having a hard time grasping and to my amazement one of my classmates beside me had the same question. Getting over this hurdle later came in handy when I got into school for vocational nursing where I had tons of questions that seemed obvious but were not.

    Course highlights:

I gained in depth knowledge of the human body and the way it functions. Understanding this class was essential to me as I was just starting to get into nursing and wanting to be prudent in my studies and career goals. I also learned that its okay to not fully understand everything in a course even after reading and re-reading again, that it is okay to ask for help especially if it could be that one question that stands between you passing and failing a course and more importantly your future career.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering taking Anatomy and Physiology 1 and or 2 I would say be organized, study in groups it makes it easier sometimes to see what you know and what you need to focus on studying. Also ask questions when you are unsure of what is being discussed, not only will it be on your test but you might have to deal with it when you are out of school with real patients. Its not just for school, its for life

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I don't get out enough to be a good judge of all that. I'm in class all morning and work all afternoon till it's time for me to go home. From what I've heard of c

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

need to get work done in a quiet environment. They have some cool parties and contests in there as well. There's always some event going on that I don't know about till the last minute, but if you're into all that, I'm sure you'd have a blast.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor was outstanding! She worked with us one on one if needed, and always made the material as easy to understand as possible. She was a very challenging teacher, but I think that is a good thing when it comes to classes, especially those in healthcare. In this class, you definitely must read the chapter a few times, and get very hands on in the lab to really learn the pathways and anatomy.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much! I think one of the coolest things we learned was all of the pathways of the body, especially the blood. We had to learn exactly how blood traveled through the heart and through the body and back to the heart. It took me forever to really understand it before I looked at models, but once I did that, I really understand the pathway. It is something I will never forget!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely be ready to devote a lot of time to this class! I took the fast track version, so I ate, slept, and breathed that class. Defintiely print out the lab pictures that are given to you, but also make sure you take more pictures of the models that arent given in the pictures. READ THE CHAPTERS. Read them two or three times even! It will help so much!
