Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to students because not only was it enjoyable and interesting as a class, but the teacher made it entertaining and a fun learning environment. Every lesson was intriguing and never bored you because everything built on the previous lesson.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was definitely dissecting organisms. Not only was it just neat to work on the animals or insects, but it was a great learning experience to be able to get a more hands on approach to the material and see it with your own eyes. I learned all about different insect and animal anatomies.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give students is although this class is not too difficult, when it comes to test, you definitely need to study and do the reviews because if you do, then you will do great on the test. The teacher will always help you on the reviews to ensure you ace the test. Never just "wing it."

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Biology 1406 with Jessie James at Kilgore College has been a course I will cherish forever. Being in love with the medical field has always made my science classes more enjoyable. When having an excellent professor it makes it one hundred times better because you know that if the teacher is invested in the class it makes going not dreadful.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights of the course was being able to interact with other students by getting involved in group activities. No student wants to be lectured the whole class rather they love to interact with their fellow students and discuss topics and concerns. I learned that no matter what the course topics always be on your A game when it comes to studying for pop quizzes and tests.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Never wait until the last minute to study your notes and read your textbook. Science especially Biology has numerous details that you must pick up in order to keep elaborating. Cramming information into your head last minute results in only short term memory rather than long term memory. So instead of getting on Facebook every second grab your notes and read over them so you will be knowledgable.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommended it because it is that one biology course that interested students will fall in love with. I personally had a great time acquiring knowledge and learning great material in this course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was that you had to mentally think, be prepared, and think outside the box. I learned a lot regarding the course, biology, like about the cells, different cycles, and the study of life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for the labs earlier, Do not procrastinate, and Have fun while learning the materials. Study days before, the morning of the exam, and organize your study habits.
