    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is interesting, and because of the teacher. He is totally dedicated to his students. He goes above and beyond what you would expect. He learns his students' names, faces, strengths, and weaknesses. He always makes himself available to help any student, no matter their level of interest or respect.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me some of the history of Earth. Also, it taught me about the creation of some of Earth's spectacular physical features. In lab, we learned how to identify rocks from all three types. I really loved learning about the interaction of the earth's four subsystems.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read your assigned chapters, and take notes while reading. Each test requires an essay, prepare for the essay by thoroughly studying the topics Dr. Buchanan says may be an essay option. Always try to be in class, on time, and pay attention.
