    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

While this is a prerequisite course, I have thoroughly enjoyed being instructed by Dr. Starnes thus far. She’s one of the most laid back, understanding professors that I’ve ever had and she makes writing a lot less scary than it needs to be.

    Course highlights:

I love writing so being in a class that focused solely on writing was awesome for me, by taking this course I was able to learn a more in depth way of writing in a completely unbiased and professional way.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just be open minded and try not to let the idea of writing scare you. It’s really not that bad and, with patience and dedication, you may even enjoy it.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class has educated me on some writing techniques. However, the grading can be kind of tough at times.

    Course highlights:

I learned about writing techniques and what to do and not to do while writing an essay.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you proof read essays for grammatical mistakes.
