    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

History is so much more entertaining when you have someone who can explain it to you way beyond the way a text book will. Mr. Forret was the funniest, interesting, most down to earth professor you could have. Don't get me wrong, he expects a lot of you, attendance is mandatory, his test are long and the questions are very specific, but you won't mind because you'll enjoy his lectures. He recently wrote a book and received an award for it, Slave against Slave, go check it out!

    Course highlights:

Engaged learning, class room participation, reading Black Like Me (very good book by the way). Learned a lot more than I ever did in other classes, I actually paid attention in this one.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be on top of everything in this class. Don't be afraid to ask questions, he answers emails pretty fast. Don't put off studying for this class. Cause extra credit opportunities are few and far between.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course and especially this teacher !! In this course I am currently learning more than I have every learned in a history class . In the classroom it is a co- learner and co-teacher atmosphere.

    Course highlights:

I learn about the history after the year 1877 it had a lot to deal with the progressives , socialist, communist (Red Scare ) , emancipation proclamations . The highlight of this course was he activities we did in class and instead of taking notes in class we had a discusssuon and talked about the issues

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not miss class or an assignment . There are assignments / mini quizzes do every week and it's your responsibility to say up on the work.

    Course highlights:

The whole course is great and she is great as a lecturer.

    Hours per week:
