    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this course because it teaches you how to write and format your essays. You also learn how to speak properly and extend your vocabulary.

    Course highlights:

    From this course I learned about the different types of essays and formats. I learned all the different parts of an essay and the correct way to cite your work and how to write a bibliography.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    You need to be ready for research and presentations, go to the office hours. Don't be afraid to ask for help go to the library, and find a tutor to help you.

    Course Overview:

    English composition I class is the backbone to all English classes. It is important for everyone to take. We learn the basis of English writing, in the right format, and make sure that we are all grammatically correct.

    Course highlights:

    The class was assigned to do an argument paper which required hours of research that was put into it. I learned how to write a correct outline for the paper, and how to state the right reasoning and objectives.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be prepared, look over notes, check BlackBoard consistently, and never turn in an assignment late.

    READ THE BOOKS!!! It really is helpful. Office hours are amazing resources as well!

    Course highlights:

    I learned more about the English language and slang. I remastered my thesis writing ability, as well.

    Definitely go into it. Just make sure you have the resources and materials you need.
