    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class really opened my eyes on how the world works, but I do not recommend taking this class if you want to hear someone curse all the time.

    Course highlights:

It helped me understand why people act the way they do better. It opened my eyes and gave me a new perspective on how society runs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is pretty easy if you like listening to lectures

    | Would not recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course but it is required. In that case, I would not recommend the teacher. Sociology can be very combative if it is not taught appropriately and people should not feel defensive or have to be offensive in order to learn in a healthy environment.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the was the last day. I learned a lot about examining thing through micro levels as symbolic interactionists do and examining things through macro level as structural functionalists and conflict theorists.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It depends on the instructor whether or not you will use the book. However, even if you do not have the best instructor the book can still guide you to passing and making an A like me.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The overall topics for the course are extremely interesting. And almost everyday we would have a discussion in class about a specific topic. We were able to see different points of view, which was nice.

    Course highlights:

I would say the highlights were the discussion we would have as a class because that's how you really get to know people. You learn their views on everyday things like racism, sexism, things of that nature. The biggest thing I learned is that you can't expect everyone to have the same thoughts as you. Even though most of the people in my class were millennials, such as myself. A lot of them didn't have the same progressive opinions that I do.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to listen to some things you don't agree with but don't shut it all out. Some of it isn't as bad as you think it is. You will talk about things that might make you uncomfortable or upset. It's not opinion, it's statics.
