Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because you learn so much! I am not the person who enjoys learning about government or history. On the contrary, these are the subjects that i dislike. Mr. Mansinghani is an incredible government professor; he truly knows what he is talking about and you can tell through the excitement in his voice that he loves what he does.

    Course highlights:

I learned about Texas Government and how the statics are changing. I didn't know so much about this subject when i entered but now that the semester is almost over I can tell everything we discussed in class. From the patron system to SBO to the Death Penalty. I was never so excited to learn about the past but this class opened my eyes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It's mandatory to show up to class because everything in his lectures are in the test. I can guarantee that if you truly pay attention and focus in his lectures you will begin to love Government. You will get involved by asking questions and wanting to know more. It is an amazing class and you will enjoy it. Good Luck!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My professor was absolutely great at what he did, he went above and beyond in order to ensure his students grasped the material. Additionally, the course itself was extremely interesting- it gave me a good understanding of the way things work in this state.

    Course highlights:

I developed a detailed understanding of our state's laws, policy making process, how the court system operates, all the different branches of govt.(judicial, legislative, etc.), along with detailed knowledge of the various offenses and what results from them(such as Misdemeanors, Felonies, Capital offenses). Additionally, we were well informed on our state's history and how much we've progressed since our first Constitution of 1827.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My best advice would be to ensure you keep up with your reading! Always brush up on the material, even if you feel you feel you know it well- there's no such thing as enough studying.
