    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone (Bio major or not) who needs to take general biology or simply wants to learn about biology. Everything was fluid and made sense.

    Course highlights:

I thoroughly understand the concepts of populations and ecological systems and their interactions as well as what goes on in the body.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook! Also, for tests study with the past quizzes given because the whole idea around this class is to learn the "take home" idea. It's not about memorizing useless facts. Everything tested on makes sense.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course wasn't too bad, if you actually do the study guides and pay attention in the lab. They lab and the lecture pretty much coincide with one another.

    Course highlights:

The study guide was basically the test, itself. I also enjoyed the lab, being that I was a Biology major. I made an A in the class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Most definitely do all of your work in the class and make relationships with the professors, because they'll be more willing to assist you when/where needed.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it to people who genuinely want to learn. Dr. Woodward is a bright and amazing professor!

    Course highlights:

    E. Coli, v. Fisheri, several different kinds of of bacteria, hemoglobin and myoglobin, how structures work. We looked deep into cells and how everything works together

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book, study in groups, study by yourself, read articles about the subjects, study a lot.
