    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class is very thorough in details on Texas government. Also the instructor is great to work with.

    Course highlights:

I learned that Texas Constitution has over 500 amendments, and how those amendments are thorough enough to have certain restrictions within just Texas.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always turn assignments in on time or if at all possible before hand.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Ms. stephens was a great instructor, had plenty of information to give. The only thing is she was a very strict instructor, and was not lenient on grades at all what-so-ever. So, if you take this class, make sure you are a perfectionist.

    Course highlights:

I gained more knowledge on politics, and what legislature really does and how it effects Texas.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. study. study. My recommendation is you bring a recorder, a good one to class because it is a lot to take in so use an actual recording device. do NOT use your phone, it is terrible recording quality.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is an eye opener to analyze government in a different way of looking at the problem. One day you may agree with the teaching, and the next be against it altogether, yet this course was awesome in the fact you get to present your opinion and assert why you believe the way you do.

    Course highlights:

Through the highs and the lows I did at the time know how the connection with history tied into with our current government statute, yet through the course of three years I feel as though the information has slept my mind. Both the course and professor can teach you life lessons that no matter the grade, you take away vital techniques to use in your future.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep on top of your assignments, and ask questions. This professor will have you questioning what you believe and why you believe it, but do not be afraid to start a debate. Like most professors, he too wants to see you succeed, so ask questions, respect his rules, and understand you get the grade that you put into studying for his course.
