    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you have a hate and love relationship with math. Statistics sounds tough, but it is honestly not that bad.

    Course highlights:

I am currently still enrolled in this course, and I have finally realized why math is important. It is not just about wrecking your brain by trying to figure out the answer to a problem, but more about enhancing your knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to set aside 3-5 hours of your time just for math only.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

While the class does cover all the necessary material, it also involves a large amount of brute force work. This massive amount of work not only wastes time, but leads the student to find alternative methods for solving problems other than learning the material.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to find confidence intervals for data, as well as how to give accurate probabilities for certain situations. I was amazed by how complex statistics was, and enjoyed solving its mysteries.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Spread out the work load. You will get burnt out if you attempt to do all the assignments on one night.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would really recommend to get your own book. Even if it was just renting it on chegg.com. A few students didn't, and had to take pictures of the pages from someone's book, or had to wait until someone would send them pictures of the pages. In addition, I would recommend to keep yourself organize and neat so you can go back and understand what exactly the different numbers came from. I would not recommend to use pen in this class, you will find yourself making alot of mistakes and would need to erase it to fix it.

    Course highlights:

This class taught me how to draw conclusions and predictions based on the data. I also learned how to determine the probability of obtaining certain results and their significance of the results we would get.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice I would give is to ask questions when you're not 110% sure on what you're doing. A small mistake on a step can really mess you up. In addition, try to be on top of what you're learning. I have noticed that many would do all the worksheet or the homework on the same day and would forget how to do it the next time we met for class.
