    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Friesen was a very likable, enthusiastic, and easy to follow teacher. Even if you have fears of public speaking, Prof. Friesen is understanding, welcoming, and kind. I'm not one to enjoy lectures but I had no issues following Professor Friesen and learning from him. It was not necessarily an easy course, but Prof. Friesen made it easy for me.

    Course highlights:

While most regard speech class as a class only good for presentations throughout school and possible public speaking in future careers, the most valuable skills I learned were how to interact within my interpersonal relationships. The skills that Professor Friesen taught me were easily applicable to my everyday life and I learned how to properly react in a confrontation or otherwise. I constantly find myself referring back to what I learned so I can relearn how to interact with friends and family without being damaging with my words.

    Advice for students:

The textbook is a must, and the online work/quizzes actually help. Don't skip out on them.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definetely recommend this course. This is an online class, yet I feel like I know the teacher on a personal level. She is always there to help me and her replies are fast and efficient. Her lectures are little videos of her talking with a powerpoint running, which I find extremely informing. Most online classes are dull and require a lot of outside learning. While we do have to read the book, you get aleast 70% of the information through her lectures.

    Course highlights:

The projects and assignments. I know it sounds nerdy, but her assignments are really fun. They are very precise, no 1000 word essays with a work cited, but completely help you grasp the central meaning of the topic. Anyone who hates public speaking but wants to learn without giving speeches everyday, this is the class for you. Plus, it saves a lot of time.

    Advice for students:

Just Login everyweek, and add her assignments to your calender and to-do list.
