    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you need a math credit, you'll have to take this class.

    Course highlights:

We learned the basics of Algebra, but we also learned how to study and how to pay several hundred dollars for the same book that was used last year, but has a new edit so a few pictures are different.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework. Do the mymathlabs. Don't stop coming to class because you're overwhelmed by the difficulty curve. The first six or seven weeks are pretty easy but it ramps up quickly and may leave you behind if you don't keep it up.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This guy grades pretty hard, but still you are in college so you should expect that. But since you're in college you should look for a challenge anyways.

    Course highlights:

This class teaches basic math. Most of the stuff I didn't cover in high school but it was still pretty easy. As long as you pay attention that is.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study just like every other class. Studying in groups always helps in math so that would be a good idea to pick up on. Also always do test corrections.

    | Would not recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor never answered my emails or communicated with me when I had an issue. He wasn't understanding or involved at all.

    Course highlights:

I didn't learn much because I had a hard time learning the information and the professor was no help.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to take two quizzes a week, 4 tests a semester, and do about 40 practice problems a week.
