    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Trackey is very knowledgeable, and makes the complex concepts easier to grasp, and understand. You really won't enjoy this class if you don't have any interest in sciences. And be prepared to be in class for a long time!

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed hearing stories about my professor working in labs. I also think it is very cool, we as his students, are going to be included as statistics in his own research, that he intends to have funded and published!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Biology has more terminology in one semester, than in two years of Spanish. You need to get familiarized with these terms, or you will be lost during lecture, and even more lost on exams.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I don't know if I would recommend this course to anyone unless you are a science major. You have to pay attention and you have to study and do your work. I did end up learning a lot in this course.

    Course highlights:

As long as I had paid attention I was learning. A lot of the stuff I learned were from notes and the professor herself.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take your notes, review and study, and pay attention. Do not procrastinate.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Simcik is a wonderful professor. His focus is not on rote memorization, but rather on the process of thought, leave the book at home and bring your brain.

    Course highlights:

Questions such as "Do squirrels commit suicide?" and "What is the role of perception in science?" dominate the course. You will learn cell structure and organelle function, but the focus is on thought itself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attendance is not graded, but go to class, you will not regret it!
