Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I needed two more science classes for my degree plan, and I am so glad I picked this as one of them. It was a wonderful experience and I learned a lot from it. Before taking this course I knew only the basics on human impact on the planet, but there was so much to be learned . This course does require studying and effort, as to every course should, but it was interesting. That is what made it easy to study for.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned so much about the environment. We humans effect our environment in so may negative ways and well it goes completely unnoticed. Small things such as taking many vacations and buying packaged goods, all effect our environment. I also learned many if our "inexhaustible" resources are not well inexhaustible . Many of our rivers and bodies of water have reduced in size over the years. There are so may ways to reduce your ecological footprint, and this class will teach you small easy ways on how to do so. This class is such a enjoyable science and teaches a lot of material at the same time!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention, keep up with the work, and defiantly participate in the class!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course due to the fact that you will have to take it during your bachelor's degree program if you are majoring in an engineering field, so you are able to get the course out of the way.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge on doing labs and creating my own labs. This course helped me become much more logical, and it helped me learn to broaden my scope.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be on top of your course work and collaborate with others so that you can make sure you understand the content.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because Prof. S is very passionate about teaching this class. He tries to make class fun by showing videos and taking us into our surrounding environment to learn about the community that we live in. This class is mainly for students who are not going into any science related degree.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were that we got to learn about the environment that we lived in and not just other places. We took samples of the environment from our college campus and did labs with them.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class, for sure read the book. Prof. S goes over PowerPoints in class but when its time for the test all of the material is from the book. He wants you to read the book because he cant cover everything in his PowerPoints.
