    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I really enjoyed this course! I found it extremely interesting! Always go to class because if you miss one class you will be lost. Tutoring sessions are extremely helpful. Do not leave studying or assignments to the last minute. Challenging but completely worth it. My favorite course at UNT and my favorite professor!!

    Course highlights:

    I loved being challenged and learning about how words are formed. I found it extremely helpful for helping second language learners.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go to tutoring sessions! Always ask for help if you do not understand something.

    You will learn the basics of linguistics, such as syntax and phonetics.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    This course is very informative, and interesting. Although the material is difficult, Doctor M is very helpful, and patient. As long as you go to class, and do your work, it is an easy class to make a B or even an A in.

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot about languages and why we communicate the way we do.

    Advice for students:

    Go to class, and ask a lot of questions! She has lots of very helpful tutoring sessions.
