    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Overall, the material covered in this class isn't bad. It's really a re-run of middle school. However, this professor is horrid. She lectures from start to finish and sometimes even a little after the class was supposed to be over. If you're someone who has back to back classes don't take her because chances are you'll be late trying to catch the last couple seconds of what she's saying. She doesn't have SI sessions because she "find them pointless." Her tests are all essay based and she is very, very specific to what kind of writing and details she wants on there. Some students, only a few did well but, most like me didn't. She just did not approve of my style of writing and made this class completely dreadful for me.

    Course highlights:

I gained that experience of a really crummy professor. I learned that some professor's really are just start to finish and do not care much about your grade. The way she taught history was like she wanted us to know it's soul within a semester while we had other classes to worry about. I learned that some professors really only have tests and no homework or quizzes or anything else. This was the definition of a true college course as my high school teachers described to scare me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say please find a different professor. The course isn't difficult it's just the professor!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Moran is an excellent professor. She gives us an online quiz every week and allows us to use our textbooks and notes. The lectures are really simple and easy to understand, Dr. Moran has a lot of passion for the course. Her exams are exactly what she tells us on the review; she gives us the terms that could be on the multiple choice section of the test and she gives us the 3 essay questions that we can write about (we only need to do one essay). Overall she is an excellent professor.

    Course highlights:

Review days were always jeopardy style.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to her lectures they really help you prepare for the test
