Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class gives some interesting insights into why society is the way it is, and a lot of what is learned in the class is applicable to Criminal Justice and Criminology.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed the lectures. The textbook was also interesting as well. I learned about the 3 major sociological perspectives and how each of them can apply to how society works.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Reading the textbook is of utmost importance if you want to be able to apply what is learned in the class. Attending lectures and taking notes is also important because of how the readings and lectures supplement each other.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Potts is really great about answering any questions. She doesn't take attendance, but you're going to want to go to her class anyway. She lectures, but asks a lot of questions so that you put in an input and opens the floor up to discussions a lot. She only has 2 papers due, and they're both incredibly easy and actually kind of fun if you don't put if off.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of things. I'm a sociology major, so this introduction course was really that: an introduction to the way people react and get together.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Answer her and attend class. If she asks a question, she'll be more likely to remember you if you speak and will treat you better as a result.
