    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Dustan teaches about culture and society in a way that relates to and gets students involved, and sometimes laughing too. This course is entertaining, thought-provoking, and extremely important. I regularly tell people about this course because I enjoyed it so much. Mr. Dunstan is a great teacher and I would recommend any of his classes.

    Course highlights:

This course teaches students skills that are absolutely necessary in any workplace. I learned to study culture and society in a less biased way than before. We learned about globalization and how it has connected us to people across the globe. We studied language, government, family and religion. We learned a lot about the history and rights of indigenous people and varying other current social issues.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is easy to succeed if you show up and listen to the lectures. Course content is online and has what you need if you miss a class. Attendance was not required. However, I regret skipping a single class- not because it affected my grade (it usually didn’t), but because I genuinely feel that I missed out on great lessons and interesting discussions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Dunstan is brilliant, extremely knowledgeable, humorous and genuinely cares about his students. I learned so much about the world and different cultures.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much, about how to analyze different cultures and how to step back and view other cultures with a sense of cultural relativity.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend class as much as possible.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is amazing. Everyone needs to take this course no matter what your major is. This course teaches you about life. About people and cultures from all walks of life and it teaches you about how to connect with people who are different from you in every way which is great for any profession. In this course you learn about different interviewing techniques, different religions, different cultures and you got to learn why people do and say what they do. Why they act the way they do which is crucial in this day and age when you're going to meet so many new and exciting people.

    Course highlights:

I gained appreciation and respect for other cultures. I gained self confidence through trial interviews and I learned how to listen and also how to make the conversation count.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

There is a weekly reading and assignment so be ready to keep up in class because if you get behind, you get lost and your grades suffer. Keep up and you'll make an easy A.
