    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class will work for you if you have a flexible schedule and are good a math. If you are like me, and need a bit more guidance in the math department, I recommened taking the class on campus or to join a study group. Otherwise, she does offer extra credit, so take use of that!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of new ways to bring business analytics into math during this class. Some stuff was fresh off my brain from 1180, but I would say I learned some new things I will be taking into my future work place.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Join a study group, keep up on the homework, and study hard.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Dr. Elwood is really good at presenting the material. All the assignments go apply to what you would use in the business world and the exam.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed Dr. Elwood's teaching methods. I learned a lot in the course and she ensured that I all the students knew the material.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise the students to complete the homework and the exam reviews.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Calculus is hard. I took it in high school and barely knew what I was doing, but when I came to UNT and got this professor, everything made sense. My professor gave us plenty of time for homework and answered questions very well without making you feel bad about asking.

    Course highlights:

I finally understood derivatives! Derivatives and integrals were so confusing to me, and I am still not even sure why I need them. But if someone asks you to take the derivative of something, after the course you will have it down.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not expect to slack off. Study for the tests. Go to class. Get a good calculator. You are not going to do well if you don't put in the work. Especially if you are a business major, you do not want to be failing a basic core math class. The math gets easier from here.
