    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Major's lectures can seem like a handful at first glance, but, in reality, he takes extra care to insure that he covers everything that will be on the exams. He gives examples, goes back over material, and initiates participation. He does not take attendence but if you miss a class, you might miss something on the exam. However, he is very helpful and talks to students after class if you have questions or comments.

    Course highlights:

I got to see why the constiution is the way it is in a whole new light. Dr. Major's insight on the founding fathers and their ideals is unlike any way I've learned about government before. He seems to be very honest about his belifs and tells it as he sees it. Then, as the course continues, he explains the laws and information in a way that ties it to current events, history, and the founding fathers.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class. Take notes. Do the reviews provided by the SIs. It's fairly easy to get a good grade if you listen. (He even often says "for the exam..." before giving you information that will be on the exam, in very similar phrasing).
