    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The instructor is very clear. I feel prepared for upper division science courses. The homework is helpful, and it is not busywork.

    Course highlights:

The recitation really helps to solidify what I learn in class. The professor is open to answering any question and really wants us to enjoy and understand what we learn.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you attend the recitation and work the problems out in class along with the professor. It's important to practice the calculation problems.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Class is super boring and not mandatory. Lectures don't help too much. The way to get a good grade in this class is to review previous exams. Acree gets test questions from his personal test bank.

    Course highlights:

Content was very heavily what you learned sophomore year in high school actually. Learned how to do thermal chemical reaction calculations. Highlights include doing my other homework in class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Great curve in Chem 1410. I would recommend taking Marshall instead. He allows you to use electronics in class. Acree is harder for Chem 1420 so don't take it both semesters. 1410 is not too hard.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While I thought the professor showed a very thorough knowledge of the subject and eagerness to teach, it was very fast passed and easy to get behind.

    Course highlights:

I have a much better understanding of general chemistry compared to what I learned in high school.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study study study!! Also, don't be afraid to go to SI sessions, tutoring, and ask questions. It can make or break your grade.
