Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
She is great at teaching and going step by step for her students and has great office hours to help students one on one. If students were unable to understand then she would go back and explain in more detail. She always put effort into teaching the class and would try and help students as much as possible.
Course highlights:
The highlights would be every class. I had an 8 a.m class which was tough to keep up with but she always tried to make class interesting and keep students engaged. I learn all the basics of algebra without the need of a calculator since it was a college algebra course.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
I would say be ready to keep up with homework. Its not like high school so homework would come three times a week and would be hard. You were able to work with others but would be better to work on alone to test your knowledge and prepare for the test.
Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
I would highly recommend this course, especially since it’s a course that is usually required. If you were an A/B student in your math courses in high school, this course could be a piece of cake for you.
Course highlights:
College algebra is a great refresher from high school. I was surprised when I recognized a formula and forgot about it, but as the professor lectured it came back so easily. One of my favorite topics were graphing! Being a visual learner, it was the easiest chapter to go through.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
My advice for this course is once your professor gives you a formula chart, study it. Even if he or she tells you the formulas will be provided, study them anyway. It saves you so much time when its time to take your exam.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
The teacher was really nice, and he was a good teacher overall
Course highlights:
Some highlights from this course was the fact that on the homework you got more than one try to get it right, and you were free to study from it and the quizzes that were provided.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
If you do the homework you shouldn't have to worry too much.
