Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is very interactive and is often hands on, with skulls and stone tools being passed around the room. The lectures are ensnaring and amusing and I've found myself easily remembering the course material because of this.

    Course highlights:

Most of what I've learned in this course has to do with human evolution. How we got here, how we became technologically advanced and how to go about discovering this if you were an archaeologist yourself. There's a good taste of what the life of an archaeologist is like and you can put yourself in their shoes after taking this class. There is also a lab, so be prepared!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always show up to the lab and the lectures. Don't just read at home. The coursework is much easier to remember when you're interacting with the professor, so ask questions! It's pretty much all tests and labs, so there isn't a whole lot of work but you certainly need to be taking notes.
