Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Effective materials, lectures and work. Dr. Blackstone was excited w/o being overbearing. A lot of homework, but it made tests easy.

    Course highlights:

I learned how far off or government currently is from the Framers' points of a small government. And the people governed continue to want bigger government.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to the lectures, participate and do your best work.

    Course highlights:

Professor makes the course material applicable to current events and does a good job of explaining why politics should matter to people from all sorts of backgrounds.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the homework, because the test questions are directly from the homework.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The work wasn't that hard but the professor is a little odd. Just keep that in mind. Outside of her quirkiness, like promoting her personal political positions during class time, I thought her reviews for exams were good. Also, she allowed laptops during class so I thought that was a plus. Unless you're from another country, there's a good chance you learned 80% of the class material in high school.

    Course highlights:

I didn't learn anything new. I already took this at my old school and got an A before being forced to retake it at this school (for another A). They said the class at my old school didn't cover the Texas component and that's why they made me retake it. I think it's just a scam to get more money out of students because I didn't learn ANYTHING new.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

It's required so just get it done.
